Terms of Service

These terms govern access to RouteStudio, including its map-animation editor, project storage, exports, and future paid plans.

Effective July 27, 2026

1. Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

You may not share access in a way that circumvents plan limits, attempt to access another user’s data, or use automated means that disrupt the service.

2. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of routes, project configurations, uploaded material, and exports you create. You grant the service the limited permission needed to store, process, render, back up, and deliver that content to you.

You must have the rights needed for content you submit and must not use the service to violate privacy, intellectual-property, mapping-data, export-control, or other applicable laws.

3. Maps and third-party services

RouteStudio relies on services such as Supabase and Mapbox. Their availability, geographic data, imagery, attribution requirements, and acceptable-use terms may affect parts of the product. Map output is creative media and must not be relied on for navigation, emergencies, surveying, or safety-critical decisions.

4. Plans, limits, and billing

Free accounts are subject to displayed project, Studio, export, quality, and watermark limits. Pro is offered at the prices and billing intervals displayed before checkout. A payment-method-required trial converts to a paid subscription when the disclosed trial period ends unless cancelled first.

Renewal timing, cancellation, applicable taxes, and refund terms are disclosed at checkout and managed through Polar as merchant of record. Subscription changes and cancellations can be made through the linked customer portal.

5. Acceptable use

Do not probe or defeat security controls, overload the service, distribute malware, create unlawful or deceptive media, impersonate others, scrape protected data, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

6. Availability and termination

The service may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may restrict accounts that violate these terms or create security or legal risk. Reasonable efforts will be made to protect saved work, but you should retain copies of important exports and source information.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that map data, rendering, exports, or availability will always be accurate or uninterrupted. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law; rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.

8. Changes and contact

Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date and, where required, additional notice or consent. Questions should be sent through the official support contact published with the deployed application.
